ok so im running a b&m fuel pressure regulator.i bought it a while backand realized it suc'd. so then i bought a megan racing fuel pressure regulator. it came with universal adapter platers they dont work with are cars. so right now for the time beingg im running the megan regulator after the b&m, is that ok for now. is there anything i should do to the b&m to make the megan run right? like gut the spring or sumten?

because as of now i dont have the fuel rail adapter. i have heard that u could use the stock/b&m regulators as a adapter. someone said i would have to drill it too. is this true? what u guys think i should do with what i got right now?

no theres no reason except i have to right now

Dont bump. Secondly, that second fpr isn't regulating anything. The b/m is already. Just buy the fuel rail adapter plate for like under 10 bucks and run the megan racing. Your setup right now makes no sense.

That purple B&M one is crap. It doesn't solve the overrun issue which is the main reason for getting an afpr in the first place. It only clamps onto the stock one and allows you to raise the fuel pressure, blindly at that without a gauge. AND, there isn't exactly an easy way to put a fp gauge onto a DSM besides an Aeromotive or Fuellab etc with dedicated ports.

i agree. the b&m is crap i wouldnt have bought it if i had known back in the day. it just raises i kno that part. im basically trying to fix that problem. i just need to make a temp adapter until the real adapter comes in the mail. also i was smart and bought a gauge at the same time and screwed it in the threaded top port on my aem fuel rail.

my question was is there any way to use the b&m as adapter/eliminate it as aregulator in the system so i can use the megan racing regulator correctly for the time being until my adapter comes in?

As long as the B&M is on your fuel rail, it will restrict the return line causing overrun with larger fuel pumps. It's a bottleneck. What ever you put behind it will do nothing, except maybe raise the fuel pressure, which the B&M can do already.
