Okay guys i need some help. Okay i put a set of venom high impedence injectors on my car they are 720cc. I read up and found to cut the wires to my resister pack that is located on the firewall and twist and solder them together. So i did all of that and my car ran for about an hour then it started runnng crazy lean. i have a maft pro so i added a ton of fuel to get it home but i just don't understand what is going on. anyone have any ideas. And before i get ridiculed for using high impedence injectors i had them lying around from an rx7 that is why i used them. anyways please help?

just get rid of the high impedence ones and buy a new set of injectors. if it was me i would just do it right the first time and buy thew right injectors instead of crutching something to make it work.

ok well like i said i had them lying around and dont have a huge budget for this car. so if anyone actually knows what they are talking about, could you please let me know if there is something im missing or do not know. the help would be greatly appreciatiated. and for the smartass with the nissan go to your own forum loser.

wow... someone is all grown up. trust me ive been in tight money situations also. i gave you my information in a sense that you might try and do things the right way and not f*%# your motor cause what you did obviously isn't working the way it should.

what is the rest of your fuel set up and how much boost are you running?

yes i do own that motor an i am a nissan guy so thats why im here posting in a dsm forum... (sarcasm)

but seriuosly i own a gvr4 and a galant gsx (glad to see you noticed from the avatar pic)

ok well no offense nissan boy but if you did know what you were talking about you would be able to help me get this to work. it is not a half a$$ way to do it, just a different way. i have done in on rx7's in the past. and there are post on ppl doing it successfully. so if you would please refrain from replying to my thread if you don't have anything helpful to add. thankyou.

alright well ive heard of all the n/a people using our resistor packs for ther high impedence injectors (cause they end up using low impedence injectors/ peak hold ones) but never the other way around. im also glad to see you answered my question. show me the thread you found that info from, maybe ill find a clue. as of right now were in the same boat i may not know anything about your reversal process of using high impedence injectors but im still trying to help but you didn't answer my question i asked you just shat on me AGAIN. if you say you've done it on rx7's in the past than why are you asking other people how to do it? shouldn't you be an expert? wiring/ grounds and power all work the same way in every car.
