I know a lot of people are doing auto to manuel swaps as far as the transmission goes.. But im actually puting an engine from an automatic into my 5 speed car. I know the autos have different cams, turbo, injectors and ecu's but what are some of the other differenes. When Im going to do the swap what problems might I run in to? Basically if someone can populate a list of what I will need to do this swap and some of the problems I may run in to would be awesome. Thanks guys.

The only major thing is the flywheel & clutch. Every thing else can be done once the engine is in.

And make sure you are not trying to use a 95> engine

see the comp might be different but you can put an auto tranny ecu into a 5spd but you can do it the other way around

When I did the auto to manual swap, My auto engine had a small metal ring spacer on the crankshaft make sure you remove this before you put the flywheel on, or your clutch will shave and grind the bell housing of your tranny.
