Cambridge,
Here goes....about two months ago my timing belt went.....didn't break! just a bunch of teeth went missing any how i thought my head was done or motor even......good news is i changed the timing belt all the pulleys......i have a 1990 Plymouth laser rs non turbo...after i completed the job i did a compression test and 155-160psi across all four cylinders...i guess im the lucky one no bent valves....now for the question 155-160psi a good reading what should the reading be ????????

It should actually be 192 PSI with a service limit of 145. Your compression is alright, I wouldn't worry too much about it unless if it starts to drop then you may have problems.

164 is perfect for a turbo engine though.
