My 95 talon tsi locked the tranny going 70 on the interstate, and I just put a new tranny in and now it wont start. It did start with the new tranny, but i drove it 1 day and parked it, and now it wont start. At this point im guessing that maby...............the crank walked over and said "how are you doing mr. cam angle sensor?" If that is the case would i be able to hear the crank hit the CAS when I crank it? And could the fact that I also put in a ACT aluminim flywheel have caused it to crank walk? still the stock clutch, just had a flywheel sitting around for no good reason.
Any way Im in the military, and i went down south to get this car,and due to the trouble I had to leave it at my parents place down south, and I didnt have time to test the coils, or the ignition module. But it does crank very strong, sounds good and can deff. smell fuel(full tank of gas) but there is no spark. I was just wondering if I would have been able to hear it while i cranked it.I had just drove it on a 1000 mile trip, and had no symptoms, (dragging while in a left turn, slow clutch return, clicking sounds ect ect)
just curious,
thanks guys

P.S
oh also, it ran good while the transmission was blow-up,you could crank it and it would run all day long, just wouldnt go in gear.(New tranny now tho :) )

yea i know its hard to tell what the problem is, i just wanted to know if the crank had walked enough to take out the CAS if i would hear it hitting when i crank the car. and no no CEL's srry

thnks guys
ps even if crank walk caused a no start, it would be because the CAS was gone, or i guess if it was bad enough it would just sieze the engine right? I feel that it is some problem with the ignition system,(no spark), I just wondered if you could hear a crankwalking engine,(aka, hitting the CAS as it rotates)if it was infact hitting the CAS??
