Some of you remember I bought a theft recovery GS-T 7 months ago. The engine was hydrolocked due to the fact that the hood and spark plug wires were stolen, so rain water was able to get into the engine and freeze it up via rust. Anyway after soaking the car in diesel fuel all the rust broke freee and she runs like a DREAM! Anyway, All I need to know is where the WASTEGATE SOLENIOD IS? The car is at my friend's shop and we printed out the diagrams and we can't locate it. Maybe it was stolen too but we are not to sure. Where is it? Its a 95 GS-T. And once I locate it what does it connect to?

Also, I am ready to mount my guages. I don't want to go the triple pod (draws to much attention) SO those with the 2 pod guage cluster...from pics it looks like it will cover the Fuel level and Oil temp gguages. For those of you that have them, is this the case? Any pics? All I really need is a yes or no answer and the visiblilty of the guages.

The wastegate solenoid should be somewhere around the air filter area.

i have that guage pod and i like it but it is harder to see the guages that are in the pod cause the steering wheel blocks them a little... im 6' tall so i have to have the steering wheel all the way up for my legs to clear.. if u dont have to have it up that far then the pod should be perfect... i like the pod so much that i get in the car then lower the steering wheel so i can see the guages with out leaning forward...works good i like the pod much better then the A pillar pods...(i think they attract too much attention too)

I'm not exactly sure how a 2g is but on my 1g it goes like this...

This is actually your BCS or Boost Control Solenoid. On a 1g you can remove it and run a MBC with no CELs a 2g it will throw a CEL if it is not plugged in. Is this what you were thinking of?
