AutoMeter Water Gauge 2G 420a Problem...

Hey, can anyone tell me where the end of this wire connects into? I've searched in my engine, but I dont have a clue where the water temperature end goes. Any advice would be helpful and I appreciate it!! =)

the difference is electrical will have a wire going to the sending unit and mechanical will have a smalll tube like hose going to the sending unit and i have a electrical water temp gauge and i tapped the sending unit in the thermostat housing right below the radiator hose
