15" Slipstream Rota rims...will they fit 94'?

I plan on running 15" Rota slipstreams. I've seen people do it on a 90-91 dsm, but on my 90 I have the bigbreak upgrade from a 94. Does anyone know if they will clear or any other similar rim that light and size that will work?

This is a good question. Some 15" wheels work with 93+ AWD brakes (275mm rotors) and some do not. I'd suggest switching to 16" wheels to dodge the issue, but that would be rude. So, instead, try opening your question up to being "please list all 15" wheels that you are sure fit over 93+ AWD brakes" and see what happens.

Peut-être vous n'avez pas lu ma note. Quelques 15s sont OK et certains pas . Vous devez fournir la marque et le modèle.

Je ne fesais que confirmer tes observations. Très bon francais pour un gars de la Pennsylvanie. :)

It's more than just the offset. The design of the spokes and the design of the main part of the wheel both matter, too. That's why the only way to be safe when putting 15" wheels over big brakes is to make sure it's been done or complete measurements were made.

ps. merci. j'ai eu plus de pratique dans les 24 dernières heures qu'en année. ce n'est pas NABR, gens. nous parlons français ici!

Ok I found some information that might help you guys help me (since im a noob with tires, wheels, and size/fitments). I got this info from http://boostin.home.mchsi.com/wheelandtiremain.htm. Maybe someone can look at that site and help me figure this out. On that site they refrence the GVR4 and size fitment combinations.

Stock GVR4: 15x6 +45mm offset. Backspace is 6.15
Rota I want : 15x6.5 +40mm offset.

I guess I could just measure distances from:

The center face of the rotor to the face of the caliper
The center of the rotor to the top of the caliper

Then just submit it to Machiii.net or something? I almost want to just take the chance and order the 15" Rota Slipstreams. 12lbs per wheel for 450 shipped???? It would be hard to find a performance deal like that in another make/brand.
