I'm starting to turn things up a little bit with my car. Even though this run wasn't with a stellar launch, I know how to get it off the line pretty well now. Within the next couple weeks, I expect to increase power levels considerably. With a couple hardware changes and more boost, I think I have another 20mph left in it. I also think with a low 1.3 60ft it would run a 9.0 or 9.1 the way it sits.

On Sunday 7-8-07 at the CSCS race in Grand Bend, Ontario and 95deg humid weather:

1.425 60ft
5.950 at 120.09mph 1/8
9.258 at 146.36mph 1/4

Things are getting turned up quickly starting at the Milan, MI NOPI race in a week and a half.

All with an FWD, you're the ####ING MAN.

My best 60ft to date is 1.341 (a pair of them actually). I had some things messed up with the chassis setup for the 9.258 pass. When things are set near-right and the car is working right, it is consistently 1.3x 60ft times. I'm actually hoping to get into the high 1.2's this year. The 1.341's were not a perfectly dialed in launch.

I was there and saw you beat DSM quebec's Mirage. Pretty impressive. They told me they were trying for 8's

That Mirage has 8's written all over it as soon as they get a good pass down at higher boost. It has gone 9.0 on four different occasions. I'm really hoping they finally get that 8-sec run soon, as they certainly deserve it.

My light for that pass was 0.125, Serge's was 0.601. I was figuring I would go 9.30's at best that run and they would probably go 8.80's. I knew I needed to cut a good light!

Very nice run Kiggly! Way to upset the Canadian Colt! :thumb:

Kevin can't upset me at all. He's a class act and a gentleman. He helped us countless times in the true DSM spirit. We run some of HIS parts in our trans AND soon in our motor.

He simply destroyed us at the tree and ran a better time. That's racing! :)

What does upset me however is a smart ass comment like yours...

No way man! I didn't mean it that way at all. I have uber-respect for that vehicle! What I meant was good job in beating the "potentially quicker" vehicle. Honestly I love seeing swapped CSM's and plan on doing one in the future. Both of you guys have awesome cars and it's even more impressive being FWD and cutting those excellent times and lights! Keep us updated on hitting those 8's as well :rocks:

The term "upset" is commonly used in most forms of sporting events. It means the least likely to win participant wins the event.

Definition #5.

I know this is just a misunderstanding, I just wanted to help clarify what SBstar mean.

I really didn't interpret it correctly then.

English is like my third language so I sometime don't get all the subtleties.

And yes, the #5 definition is exactly what it was.

Looks like "I" was the smart ass. ;)

I ran 9.09 at 150mph a week ago. I have some video that I need to size down still, I will post it soon. I hurt the motor on the next pass (which was up 5mph at the 1/8th), but it will be back together before the shootout. It should be running faster then. This setup is nowhere near maxed out yet.
