Hey guys, I just recently went to the track in my fwd 90 laser. STOCK w/o balance shafts or ac, running open o2 housing and pulled the headlight (like it did anything) full interior minus spare - had tools in there and pulled off a 14.52 at 100.48.. even trapped one at 102.40 and ran a 14.55. This is on 92 octane at 3300+ft elevation, stock BALD 205 street radials and a chilly night. Spinning all the way through the top of 2nd before traction.

So, I was very impressed with my little Laser. Didn't think it has anything under 14.9's in her on stock boost/intake/weight. YAY for me!!!

Well, the 60ft's sucked.. averaged 2.40's and a best of 2.32. Due to the spinning, I really had to slip the clutch off of the line, which caused a slight bog, then just spin away..

No, seriously - its stock.. with exeption of kn filter, and no balance shafts or a/c .. also was running open o2 housing and had headlight out.

very chilly - about 33* outside.. and 3300+ft elevation.

I was as shocked.. didnt think it had it in her!

The trap speed is only high because you were spinning so much you spend more time on the track (literally) which acheives a higher trap speed. If you put on a set of slicks you would pull 14.2 @ 95mph because you would hook up and spend more time shaving off the ET not more time spinning increasing the MPH.

Right, I agree. Which, 14.2's on slicks with a otherwise stock fwd is pretty good to me! Especially at 3300+ft elevation.

:thumb: Good runs....only if you had a little more traction you would defintly be in the 13s.

I hope to be there next weekend.. I will have a 2.5" uicp, dejon intake w/ 2g mas (already installed) RRE 2.5"-3" down pipe and 3" catback. Debating on whether to run 15lbs or not. then, a couple weeks after that comes the ported 2g mani, 2.5" tubular o2 and 2.5" FMIC piping :D

i will be running 17's w/ 245's. only suspension right now is front strut brace, lowering springs and kyb's up front. so, after all the bolt ons, I will get some adjustable struts all the way around, swaybars and new front end parts.

right now working on a pesky oil pan leak!! gets on the downpipe and smokes away!!
