does anyone know of a fitting that will replace the banjo style fitting for the line that goes from the fuel filter to the fuel rail with a fitting that will screw into the stock fuel filter, but will allow me to run a -6 line from the filter to the rail? if so can you tell me the exact name of it or the part number?

it will be alot easier then going into my local performance shop that sells all the fittings and trying to explain what i need to them. this is for a 92 awd if that makes a difference...thanx

Gritsak, I have the exact part you're talking about. It's made by Goodridge-- it screws directly into the top of the stock filter and has a -6AN fitting on the other end. I've heard that Aeroquip also makes one. The bad news is that I don't know the part number-- the guy I got it from is supposed to be looking up the part number for me, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet.

I started out getting the AutoAlchemy kit, but the "high'flow" Earl's filter that it comes with didn't work for me-- my EGTs went through the roof. So I replaced the Earl's filter with the stock filter and the Goodridge adapter above. Works A LOT better. I still use the AutoAlchemy -6AN braided line and fuel rail adapter, however. I tried to take some pics, but they didn't come out very good at all. As soon as I hear back on that part number, I'll post it-- other people have been asking about it as well.
