Ok I'll probably get bashed for this ?, but I was bored and just wondering. Would there be any advantage of mounting an intercooler, and putting a filter on one tube to it, and running the other to the Manifold? LoL, like I said, bored and just wondering.

r u drunk :notgood:
ok I dont want to be an a hole but no it will not add shit, a fmic is made to be pressurized so nonono

I've seen some local ricer honda kids do this mod, and all it does is make the car rev slower and bring the intake temps down to ambient-which is what they would've been anyway if they just ran a cold air intake. I guess the reason they do this is to make the car look turbocharged. Kind of like the sound thingy you can buy on ebay that makes "turbo" sounds under your hood.

air heats when compressed, so that's why the intercooler is there. on a normally aspirated engine an intercooler would do nothing but make it harder for the engine to breathe

my nephew got one of them "Turbo Whistlers" from ebay, all it did was make is celica gt sound like a big dog whistle...

Interfooler? I've seen a few guys do that around here. I don't recommend it, personally.

Some company had a kit that had a panel filter about the size of a small intercooler and was placed in the FMIC area and it drew air from there.
