Clutchnet Clutches

I just received my 6 puck unsprung disk today. Shipping time was not too bad. How ever when I ordered it at Clutchnet.com the shipping cost told me it would ship UPS.

It was NOT it was shipped uninsured VIA USPS in a flat rate envelope. It had one piece of cardboard in the package.

I was also charged $13.00 shipping. They spent $4.75 on the shipping for the flat rate envelope.

When I called them about it the guy said "So what" when I told him about shipping the clutch in an envelope. He told me that the clutch plate can not be bent. When I asked why I was charged $13.00 for shipping UPS and they only payed $4.75 for USPS. He said he would have to look into it and told me "If there were any discrepancies they would give me a refund for the difference". He told me he will send me an e-mail we will see.

At this time I would have to say I will not order from them again.

This is a pic of the disc and packaging.

This is more of a vendor review than a product review. Can you please add some info regarding the actual product?

How many places do you think charge you their actual cost for shipping? Unless your buying from a private individual (& even then alot of guys add on a few $), most companies tack on some extra to cover packaging materials & also if they need to cover some costs to take the package to a depot/post office to ship.

Whats wrong with the packaging? Sure it may not be the best but it did get to you in perfect condition, didn't it?

Edit: Just noticed the date, what the hell Paul, lol

Better late than never. :p I was doing some clean-up in the articles section today, and I'm going as far back as 12 months :)

Well its been in the car since Jan it seems to be holding well I should have looked at it when I had the motor out last month. It only chatters slightly. I have been daily driving it for about 5000 miles. Grabs well when lauching. I am using it with a xtd stage 3 or 4 pressure plate.
