Concept 1g Rear End

I've always loved how 911s look so I thought maybe the ugly 1g rear would look better as a 911 rear...

Hmm... Yeah I don't plan on doing it any time soon but it would be pretty cool to see someone do it. Couldn't you do it a lot cheaper by possibly fabricating the whole thing using carbon fiber. Then all you would need to do is figure out how the pieces fit together and make them with carbon fiber... I don't know if that would work but if so I think it might cut costs quite a bit.

damn, you beat me to it. haha, that is exactly what i was going to say. personally its not really worth the money that it would take to do that, with the money you spend on that metal/fiberglass piece of work, you could prob get a real 911..... ok, maybe not

I wonder what a wingless 1g would look like if the rear bumper cover didn't potrude out. That might give you a similar look for a lot less money. The only "problem" would be no rear bumper support. Just a thought.

You would be the joke of every single Porsche message board on the planet. I think it would look terrible personally. And yes, for the amount of money you dump into that, you could buy a real one. You can get 930 model 911s for around 10 grand. I know of a pink one with pink wheels that needs a little engine work for $4500.
