Hey,

Any way to convert it? I'm a huge fan of the 90/91 front but LOVE the 92-94 rear end. How difficult is it? Also, anyone have a picture of a White 90/91 AWD with blacked out taillights? I'm just not a fan of the rear end :( The only cosmetic mod the talon will go thru :)

I'm assuming that I could get the rear bumper and tailights..but I have a feeling the rear 1/4s are different. Can anyone confirm?

you need all the "soft parts" to do a conversion. Bumper cover and lights mainly. If you are swapping 92+ talon lights, you might need to do some re-fitting to mount your license plate and you need to change the wiring to make the turn signals work correctly OR take the wiring harness out of the 92+ talon as well, it is about 3 feet long and hooks to the rear lights, side marker lights in back, and plugs in on the rear drivers side quarter somewhere. You might also need the rear bumper support bar for a 92+ Talon conversion. Good luck.

half correct, half wrong

the 1/4 panels are the same

you will need all 3 peices of 92-94 talon tails (both side lights, and also the center peice which has the back up lights and licence plate mount.

the back bumper SHOULD bolt right to the car, but some people do find that holes are moved around alittle so some drilling may need to take place.

you will need some wiring changes as stated.

lastly, this topic has been discussed alot of times, and there are alot of helpful threads, so you could also do a search for it.

Hey thanks

did it on my 90 you will have to cut or bend the piece that the bumper bolts to on top down because the 1ga bumper goes strait across, the 1gb bumper dips down in the middle. i ended up with about 4 bolts totsl holding the bumper on compaired to about 20.now thats what i call weight reduction! seriously its not very hard but its time consuming. oh yeh you will have to splice in the 1gb turn signals because the housings on the 1ga wont fit in the holes. have fun and popups are f@cking sexy :thumb:
