i bought a blitz front bumper and the blitz side skirts. the bumper was to big and the side skirts were to small. i bought them for an eclipse. i got the bumper to fit with a lot of modification. BUT WHY WONT THE SIDES FIT? OH AND WILL ECLIPSE TAIL LIGHTS FIT IF I GOT RID OF THE TALON TAIL LIGHTS? i know i would need a new rear bumper.

bodykits are simply NOT made to fit. They claim they are just bolt on, but that is hardly ever the case.

It is a problem with fiberglass aftermarket body parts and not because you bought parts for your talon that were made for an eclipse. Like pretty much anything aftermarket and fiberglass you will need to cut and modify parts to make them fit. Unfortunately.

^^^^ Very true ^^^^
It's not because you have a Talon.... It's because many many bodykits dont fit. They are made crappy and so they fit crappy. Thats why they keep getting cheaper and cheaper in price. Quality is going down the hill (as if it was ever on the top of the hill). 1 out of 5 will fit decent. The other 4 will require lots of modification..... You are one of the 4. Sorry. (dont feel bad, I was one of the 4 also) :dsm:

eh id say since he had the horrible smiley face bumper any body kit is an improvement. but like it says above, body kits arent made to bolt on, theyre a custom fitted kinda thing. usually alot of cutting and fiberglassing will be needed to get it to work good, though most ricers just screw it in wherever possible and dont care how it lines up with the car as long as it gives them that 'tooner" look.

if you dont know how to fiberglass or such, you can take it to a body shop and they will install the kit and paint it while youre at it. nothing worse than an unpainted kit. dam ricers.
