which twinplate cluch is better

ok like it says im lookin at a exedy twinplate maybe a multi plate & a powertrain technoligy 7.25 twinplate . the ptt is cheaper and says it will hold 800 lbs of torque-(is this true). but which one is better and will hold & last longer. please any help is apprecheated

I have heard that the quartermaster is the best out of all of them. Its costs about the same and holds just as much power. I have read and heard this from multiple people. There is a thread about this already. Twicks69 uses the QM V DRIVE twin clutch and recommends that to the fullest.

Your welcome. I plan on getting that one as well. Be aware of some of the problems all these twin discs have and also what you must do to get them to work. I would recommend reading other threads specifically about the QM and you should be good.

IIRC, The PTT twin disc was designed by the same guy who did the Quartermaster. I have many friends with Quartermasters, they are strong units but a bit noisy. The PTT's are actually a bit quieter.
