Wheel Color: yes or no?

I was suggested in my other thread to move it here for more responses.

I recently painted my wheels flourescent pink. It was kind of a dare and kind of just being bored one night so I did it. The wheels were allready really oxidized and corroded so I didn't really care. Now that they are painted I have gotten tons and tons of different reponses about them. I want to see what the overall impression is from the dsmtuners crowd. Let me know cause I have heard quite a variety of opinions on them.

The one pic makes them looked faded but they are really nice and bright!

I think it looks terrible. A nice black or grey paint would look much better.

I kinda like it, it's somethin you don't see everyday. I'm tired of seeing all these eclipse done up the same damn way. Look at all the top secret cars and other japanese tuner shops they do crazy shit like that all the time. The newest modified mag has a freaking R34 with green wheels and it looks tight.

If you dont mind getting homosexual comments from the locals then keep em. I would paint them ANY color other then pink.

I think its cool Its different and you definatly don't see something like that every day. Right now I'm in the process of powdercoating my wifes engine bay pink. Yeah i know its okay becuase she is my wife but she is doing pink becuase who else has pink. Anyway I think its cool.

I don't mind the color at all, it was funny yesterday I went to look at a semi-local car forsale, and the guy was like "no way, this is the car my buddy tried to race and you blew the doors off him" I was like are you sure it was me? he says "well how many white eclipse's with pink wheels are out there and then are able to blow the doors of a 20g eclipse" I just laughed

Those are all over Ebay, I believe they are pretty cheap too.

Http://www.boneheadperformance.com It was expensive ($30) but it is cool as hell. The have every color and finish you can imagine. My friend Ken did the powdercoating. I also bought a Mitsu logo for my car. It has a brand new seal on it so when you get it you have to oil the seal and I used a craftsman grip wrench to get it straight. It's deff. different. I don't really have a problem with 'em. That r34 is fugly though!

Might look cool if you painted the middle black and left the pink lip.....or it might be too many colors. Just a thought
