well i went to the track today 1000ft at sallisaw , oklahoma and tried out the new clutch........here are the results...
1st race--- ( tony turbo gsr 10lbs, 50 trim ) I came out of hole sideways, #1 injector plug came loose after launch , had to get out of it due to misfiring.... coasted a 14.08
2nd race-- ( james novi 2000 supercharged 11lbs mustang 5.0l 555r drag radials) I launched at 2000rpm to keep from spinning so bad, bad idea, punched it in 2nd and barely won by a half a car, dam that mustang pulls HARD on the big end. great run james!!! (win 1/2 car)
3rd race---- ( roys 03 cobra crazy mods!!!! 455whp w drag radials) I finally figured out the clutch... launched it at 6000rpm and managed to keep it somewhat in a straight line..i did red light though , a .498 darn near a perfect light!!!! blew em off through 2nd... car ran awesome! dam that mustang is bada#$!!!!!!and LOUD! ( win 2 cars )
roy fried his clutch 2 runs after racing me though , that sux and i know how he feels twice over!
complaints--- NO FREAKING TIMESLIPS, " THE PRINTER IS DOWN" AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!NO FREAKING SHUTDOWN ROOM!!!!!!!!! ...... sorry 60ft spread!!!!!
all runs were at 16.5lbs with a peak of 16.7.........this car has MAD TQ!!!! i love it......
all in all i had a BLAST!!!!
