I have a 96 talon tsi it has simple mods such as front mount intercooler,16g,cold air intake,1g bov(cruched).I have been having a strange misfire problem, under normal driving conditions the car will NOT missfire in anyway.if the car goes into boost example:10lbs of boost for a few seconds in every gear it will also NOT misfire.as soon as I do go into boost and keep my foot down on the gas pedal it will start to misfire on cylinder 3,this is conformed by the cel coming on.once it starts to misfire it will stay that way until I put the car in neutral for a min. Or two then the misfire goes away on its own and drive normal again.I already did the misifre check list.checked timing, changed plugs and wires, changed coil packs, changed ignitor, changed maf sensor, boost leak test, fuel filter, nothing fixes the issue.i also did compression test 175 on all cylinders except cylinder #3 it read 160,also once I put the new plugs in for some reason the gap on cylinder 3 keeps closing up,bpr7es is the plug im using..there is no knocking,or ticking,or low oil pressure..no matter how I rev it up,cold start it,boost it,drive it,nothing makes even a small sound of knock or ticking..does anyone have an idea of what's going on?

I have the same exact issue man check for boost leaks, check the wires, check the ignitor and thats all i got so far.

Yes I read your thread,I just posted on there how I figured out my problem.its kinda long but it explains it all.sadly for me I will have to pull the head off and replace my valves on cylinder 3.luckly my friends and I have several 1g and 2g heads laying around.so ill just pull mine off and put a new 2g head on.it should only take 2 or 3 hours tops.
