So I have had my Spyder GST for about 6 months now, and have done a lot of work to it (it needed it when I bought it). One of the things I bought it with were dents on both rear quarter panels. They cause my trunk not to close properly, and although that's not such a big deal, they are an eyesore. So I'd really like to fix them myself.

I'm not very experienced at this type of work but I really want to learn and do it myself. When I bought the car I knew pretty much nothing about cars and since then I've dropped the tranny, replaced clutch fork/throw out bearing, and done many other major jobs.

So here's a picture of each dent. I have a slide hammer; will that work to pull these or will I need something else? How would you guys go about doing this? Any help is very much appreciated, I would have never been able to do the work I've done w/o this forum.

I wouldn't use a slide hammer, besides it not that "bad". Try a body hammer and Dollies from the back side of that panel on bending it back to the right form. The few things that WILL need replacement is the edge of the wing on the 2nd photo, and maybe a gas cap lid...
