how do i tell if i have a backlit palm pilot or whatever its called. i have the palm III. anyone know anything about these. it doesnt seem to be lighting up. does it even light up at night?

if you have the black scale palm just turn it on, then hit the power button and hold it (while palm is on). The screen will light up green (good only at night).

you soo should have paid the extra 3 bucks for a palm iiic..and the rechargable batteries it comes with..
