I threw a check engine light, checked it with DSMLink and it said "Excessive time to enter closed loop fuel control". Then I logged my frontO2 sensor voltage and I wasn't getting anything higher than .04 at any throttle level. I figured this meant I needed a new front O2 sensor.

Autozone has a generic one for $100, my local dealer quoted theirs at $136. Is there a difference between generic and Mitsu o2 sensors? Also, is there any other place that I could go to find it cheaper? Thanks.

Thanks a bunch, just ordered it up. And to think I was actually thinking of going to the dealer to buy a part...I'm not thinking straight these days....I attribute it fully to the sauce.

No problem. I go to the dealer when I have to. Its no big deal to me since I get a 25% discount there which definitely helps. But even with the discount its still 92.00 :(. I will be ordering one here too since mine is also dead. What one did you order? Im curious on the length of the OE one to make sure its long enough.

Denso OE identical O2 sensor
Stock Number: 234-4026
Part Number: 234-4026
Unit Price: $47.59
Extended Price: $47.59

I sure hope it's long enough

I called them up. They told me its 38.xx inches long. Should be plenty long enough. But some guy had a brand new OEM one here who sold it to me for 50.00. So I just picked that up. I have a cycling o2 sensor once again. :) :thumb:
