Ever since I put a Japanese Swap in my 2.0 n/t talon, the check engine light stays on. It is practically a stock motor. Only mods are cold air intake, headers, and chopped aircan. The codes all point to the MAF, but I have hooked up 3 other ones that worked on other talons and still get the check engine light. One of the codes was the barometric sensor. (I figured that may help.) The light stays on all the time, but does not affect the way the car runs or performs at all. When it starts raining, I can drive down the road then stop and the car begins to shutter at idle, then the check engine light goes off and it runs the same as if the check engine light was on. Any ideas what may cause this and how to fix it?

The fun is over now comes the spark chaseing. First thing I would do is strip back the cover by the 6pin plug and make sure the insulation is still on the wires. (My 96 SHO did the same thing and that was the problem)

If that is OK start checking the harness back to the firewall to make sure nothing got pinched in the engine swap.
