My 97 GST Threw a Rod Bearing. I am wondering if its going to be cheaper to pull it and rebuild the bottom end or buy a used or new motor. I need some help.

Well it depends. You don't throw a rod bearing, you could, what people call throw a rod, this means that the rod broke away from the crank and that there is catastrophic damage. You could also of just spun a bearing which will cause it to knock and lead to a thrown rod. Depending on what actually happened in your situation you might not even be able to rebuild your engine, or it might be rebuildable. I really can't tell you any more than that without further information.
