Ni everyone I am in the stages of building my first dsm all forged internal build in my 1995 gsx. I'am currently waiting for it to come back from machine shop rom having head built and decked plus alll the other good stuff. here is the list of mods being put into motor. all brian crower titanium valves that are oversized intakes and exhaust with springs and retainers plus 280 cams. Cometic mls head gasket. ARP headstuds.. eagle H-beam rods .. eagle crankshaft.. ACL race and main bearings with 00.1 oil clearence.. wiseco 8.5.1 1400 series Hd pistons.. AEM highflow fuel rail .. 1000 cc pte injectors.. fuelap afpr.. dsmlink V3 full.. gib evo 16G turbo.. 3" gm maf sensor.. also have a 18G FP turbo but need hotside replaced from cranking.. and tial 38mm wastgate.. hks sqv bov.. greddy profec spec 2 boost cointroller fmic.. 3" tubro back full exhaust. thats everything but my main question is what kinda compression should i be seeing on my first start up from the hiogher comression ? i tried doing this thread in the head and block part of forum but would not allow it since a newbie.. all comments and help appreciated!!

The rings need to properly seat before i think you would see your true comp numbers. I havent tested mine in awhile, but recently had a completed rebuild with similiar parts and compression ratio. Iirc, after 300 miles i tested and it was about 180 on all 4 w/8.5:1 pistons. My machinist did the work and im pretty sure he said he used 8.5:1 pistons

I'm sure it's a typo, but that's a bigass clearancefor your bearings.

thats what i thought also when i was told that there was options for me and there was the standard acl bear and then this one to offer more lubrication to the rods and crank.. so i said i will take them..

also one other thing guys.. i'am looking at buying a gt35 series turbo for the gsx also for the higher hp i would like to push.. iam looking at hitting atleast 450 to the wheels on dyno and i would actually like the 500 hp mark and this will not be a daily driven car!!
