My new 91 talon tsi

Ok I just got my 91 talon tsi awd auto ( ill find a manual one day )

Got her with 77,000 miles and zero rot/rust. This was a southern car that made it up here and I was fortunate to find it and provide it a new home. These are just some of the pictures ill take more when I get a chance.

Damn, seems like you got an awesome deal. Auto or manual, that is one clean car. It doesn't have the emblems removed like most, which to me is an awesome look for the car.

I'm going to like exhaust and intake maybe rewire fuel pump but nothing major I want to keep it a reliable DD. I got such a deal on it believe it or not I got it for 3000 haha be jealous

honestly, 3000 is a little much for a 91, but regardless auto or manual, you've got yourself one clean looking tsi.

I think its a great deal, just my opinion.

I didnt mind paying 3000. In my area its hard to find a clean one that hasn't been beaten on or riced out. Also there is NO rust at all on this car all the original under coating from the factory is still on the rocker, bottom, and wheel well panels.

Also I had a question did the automatics come with a 14b or a 13g turbo I looked at the turbo at it says td04, what turbo is that. I thought it was a 14b but someone told me autos come with 13g, I'm a little confused can you clear some things up?

Yea, you're right. It takes some time to find these damn things in good condition and low miles. After searching for over a year in Va I finally found the one in my avatar with 63,000 original owner miles, mint. for 2,000.

oh yea, 13g is stock auto.

the 14b pushes 400cfm
the t25 pushes 290cfm
The 13g pushes 360cfm's


the 14b is huge compared to the t25....the only good thing the t-25 has is great spool

That's a sweet car! Automatics are faster than manuals BTW. (in a built car that is)

A friend of mine is picking up a tan 90 AWD manual in Alabama today. He found one that had one owner, and has never been moded for $2800. No rust, and the only issue that we know of so far is the peeling clearcoat.
