My car is having issues

My 91 talon is cutting out after about 5500rpms, I already fixed the boost leak and i have the boost backed down to 12psi so i dont hit fuel cut. Does anyone know why it is doing this. Would it matter that my coolant temp sensor doesn't work at the moment.

Yes.

A car that is having problems should not be taken that high. Fix your temp. sensor then get back.

Have you replaced your plugs and wires lately.

You had your boost upped without fuel mods?

Did you also fix all boost leaks and make sure there aren't other ones? It doesn't matter if you're only at 12psi, if you have other boost leaks you will be sucking in enough air to make the 20 psi or so to hit fuel cut.

I have changed pluggs and wires with ngks and Ive done a leak down test it holds pressure. When it cuts out it continues to accelerate but you can feel it cut out

Do you have a boost gauge and how did you make your boost controller?

auto meter boost gauge, and boost controller was made from stuff from the local hardware, spring bearing etc

Did you try hooking the hoses back up to the BCS instead of the MBC?

no i haven't, it wasn't hooked up when i got the car it was ran to manifold pressure, also thismorning it was running excellent, this isn't a consistant thing, but it happens more often than not.
