I have finally managed to save some cash and invest in my car. I started off with a G.F.B Respons TMS bov (Respons is spelled like that on the box so I'm not miss spelling) anyways the installation time was no longer than 30 minutes. It would have taken me less, but the previous owner put some kind of gooey sealant so I had to clean it off. The gasket fit perfectly, screwed it in reconnected the vacuum hose and recirculation tube. I do not have a MAFT yet so I leave it on recirculation most of the time. If I want to make a little noise I have it 50/50 open and recirc, and on those days I feel like showing off just for fun I open it full atmosphere. I do notice that it bogs down on full atmospheric, so on my day to day I leave it full recirc. Funny thing is that its quieter on recirculation than the 1g stock bov.
I have also ordered a Mishimoto dual core radiator still on its way to me, should be here Wednesday next week. I will edit journal to include those details. I have also ordered and installed new Brembo rotors noncross-drilled or slotted. I wanted to give them a try in OEM spec before considering moving to a brake kit form them. I have EBC Red-stuff Brake Pads, Ceramic. I have heard mixed reviews about them but a buddy of mine says he has been using them for a good while now and he says they work great. So Im going to give them a try. Photos will be up soon.
I know this sounds like minor maintenance to you guys and most of it is. My stock rad is leaking everywhere, my front rotors and pads where gone. So I'm taking this opportunity of repairs as my base list.
