anybody else ever fabricated their own strut bar? if so can you take some measurements for me??? i think im going to try to do this in the next couple weeks. if i complete it, ill post up some pics.

ok well how bout somebody hook me up wit some close pics of their strut bar plz?

Just do yourself a favor and buy one of the cheap ass ones off e-bay for like 20 bucks. If you want a sturdier one then that then you can atleast use it for a template. I still stick by 'a strut bar is a strutbar..."

well ill be making it in class, just to attempt since i have nothing else to do during my auto tech class, cuz i dont have anything to fix on my car. and we have all kinds of metal. so i was gunna try to make my own.

I have fabricated some strut bars for eclipses...What measurments do you need?

all i have to say about the bars off ebay those aluminum bars that come with them for about $20 is a very good start the only thing that sucks about the strut bars on ebay is the mounts are weak as hell. the strut bars off ebay worked on my car pretty good for about a week till i got into some majoring cornering issues out running a camaro. they still work but not as well, but the aluminum bar is a great start makes some good mount for them and you are in business

also i wish i could get a car that i can't twist the chassie driving, please help what am i doing wrong when i drive that the chassis always get twisted up. most noticable when looking at the hatch back wings.

my camaro the door jam gapping got really screwed up and the hatch back could never lie straight again

i need just about all the measurements. main one being the size of the bar i will need and the degree of the bends i will need to put on it, and where the bends should go.
thanx
