Is this good BOV?

Is this good and what kind sound of that come?The guy who is selling it to me ask 150e.Buy or not to buy?Thanks.

If you want to go the most price efficient route, just get a first gen BOV. Thats what alot of people do.

I have 91 gsx so i have 1 gen bov but i want blow off valve,not bypass.And i like that psssssssshhhhh sound.

A BOV and a bypass valve are the same thing. But in my opinion, keeping the 1g BOV would be best for cost and performance.

This is totally full of it. The 1g bov is a fast acting type and will allow your system to relieve pressure about as well as any other. The idea that a tial will keep your turbo around longer is just junk.

Now you need to search on venting because it sounds like you are about to commit the #1 newbie mistake when it comes to DSMs and a search will show you why. So much has been written on this and I don't want to go back into it other than to say you should not be venting with your setup.

Well sounds like he doesnt care much about the perforance he just wants the pshhhhttt sound so let him vent.. As everyone said the 1g BOv is ur best choice unless your going with a bigger setup.

your setup + sound + better performance = impossible. get it?

At best you could get equal performance and pay a lot of money for a little more sound as you still have to recirc at this point.

Since you are in europe and it is not in your vehicle profile I am guessing you are not running a GM maft. with your shown knowledge base I am guessing you are not running a stand alone with a speed density setup.

I have no idea what you are speaking about with 150e other than maybe 150 euros. If this is what you are saying then the sentence makes no sense. I understand that you may not speak english all that well but you need to ddo a search and read about venting. Just enter venting into the search and read the threads that pop up.

Now since you seem to be totally against searching I will spell out the basics. Your stock intake system reads the air comming into the turbo. If you vent to the atmosphere you will loose counted air and run rich. This will cause you to have worse performance PERIOD.

this is easy

peepo buy the tial bov when there motor is built up, have a way bigger turbo(i.e. 50 trim, 20g, other g and garrett turbos), have a big front mount and have a gm maft and maf translator

guy that are boosting 20+psi on a daily basis
guys that are done with all mods and now are already tinking with the internals

that is when a tial bov would be must have

once again a search will be able to get you alot more info than I can give here. the problem is your questions are so broad it is hard to answer them straight out.

Make sure you know what you are doing before you start changing things.
