Kelowna,
So I ordered a 1g BOV last week and the guy threw in a homemade UICP real cheap so I bought it instead of making my own, but when I got it and tried to put it in, the fuse block gets in the way and it doesn't even come close to fitting. So I have been searching the forums for hours, and I came across a pic of gSx r1der's custom UICP, but his fuse block is nowhere to be seen, WTF?? do 2ga's have a different fuse block location than 2gb's or can you relocate it or something or are canadain cars different (highly doubt they would have a different fuse block location just for a bigger alternator) or what? I'm pissed here, I've got my friggin' car ripped apart in the driveway and don't really want to put the stock shit back in, please help!

yeah, I checked out the brode and the buschur install on vfaq, and they both run under the fuse box, but the one I have will not even come close, gSx r1der's is the first one I've seen where there is no fuse box where it's supposed to be, but it looks like mine is supposed to be installed the same. I don't know.

To answer your question, the fuse block is in the same location on both 2G's. The fuse box can be relocated, but I personally wouldn't do it because of the work involved. Just find out what's interfering with the UICP and modify around it if it needs to be done.

Post a picture of GSX Rider's engine bay or atleast a link to his gallery so we can see wtf you are talking about. Are you sure his car is a 2g car? 1g's have the fuse box in a different location than a 2g.

Be more specific of why it doesn't fit. Does it sit up to tall? Cut off some of the lower pipe that connects to the ic so it sits lower. A picture of your pipe will help us help you. :thumb:
