Would anyone be able to show me an install of a aftermarket boost, oil temp, and engine temp gauge?:talon:

Basically the whole install from wiring to mounting to function. I've never installed any kind of aftermarket gauges. Thanks for you help!:) :talon:

We still need more info... is the boost gauge mechanical or electrical?

i say use a mechanical boost gauge, electrical oil pressure, and im not sure what you mean by engine temp gauge, like water temp?..because if so, i say forget it. as long as your oem one is working you would be better off getting a wbo2

You can mount your gauges similar to my set-up, right where the center vents should be.

Or you can opt for the pillar location if you don't mind the flashiness :tease:

ROFL ...there's a HUGE difference in price between those 2. That's like saying "You'd be better off getting DSMlink." Not to mentin, it's not like he said he's getting an A/F gauge.

If you've got a water temp gauge, hopefully it's electrical. All you have to do is replace the OEM sending unit with the new one and run the lead wire to your gauge (wherever it is that you decide to mount it).

Same for an electrical Oil Pressure gauge. Replace the OEM sending unit with the new one and then run the lead wire to the gauge.

As for a Boost Gauge, get a mechanical one and then... use the search button. You'll learn there's lots of different ways and places to tap it (i prefer from behind :p ). Since you've got a 1g... i think most people would recommend tapping into the P-port on your IM. If you don't know what I'm referring to... again, use the search button.

Hope this helps.

they are the defi d-series boost, egt, a/f. the entire d-series is discontinued. they are hard to come by. i love them for the fact that they match the stock gauge backing and lighting perfectly.

here is them light up in their old location while i was waiting for my current pod.

They look to ba a damn good match.
After I get my GST running I'll have to find at least a boost gauge .in that style because the AutoMeter the PO put in the space for the cigarette lighter just dosent cut it for me.
