exhaust suggestions?

Hi I'm new to the forums and I have a '97 eclipse that is about to go under a LONG list of modifications that will definitely take some time. Let's just put it this way...my goal is for 700 hp. As you can imagine my list for future mods goes down to the floor and will cost some serious $$$. I've been looking for a good cat-back exhaust system and I'm torn between the Apex'i GT Spec Exhaust System and the B&B Performance 3 Inch Cat-back Exhaust, both found in the "Parts" section of this website. My question is this for any owners of either of these out there...which one do you have, do you like it, and which would you suggest would go better with my setup? Oh, and do either of them sound really ricey? I hate those exhausts. Any input would be great because I'm trying to do this right the first time with the fewest wasted dollars and headaches as possible.

Go 3" and be done with it. Typically, if you have a muffler shop custom-make your own exhaust piping it comes out cheaper than buying a pre-made bolt-on kit.

Like he ^ said I bought a VRS complete 3" turbo back it was 900 with a magnafolw straight threw muffler. My buddy got his done at a local muffler shop he paid about 350 for the piping and laborer then bought a muffler off the internet. So getting it done local is usually cheaper

I just put on a full 3" Apexi Gt exhaust system and downpipe. Installation was really easy. The hardest parts was removing the old exhaust, especially the rear o2 sensor. The exhaust fits really well sounds great and is very well made. I checked on alot of exhausts before I bought this one and called around. It was pretty much unanimous everyone recommended the apexi even companies that had their own exhaust systems.
