Couple questions about boost

Assuming you have all the supporting mods, what's the highest amount of boost a 14b can push? Also, when shopping for mbc's, is there any difference between them? Like on ebay i'll see a $20 mbc and on a vendor site i'll see a brand name $70 mbc. Are there any big differences?

I believe the highest psi a 14b stays reasonably efficient at is about 20psi. That being said, as long as the MBC you purchase is a ball and spring design you should be good almost no matter what brand you go with... I have a 15$ ebay MBC and it works like a champ

It all depends, I've seen some crazy people pull the waste gate in a run but they were rinning race gas and all the proper mods. Efficient (sp?) wise I wold guess it runs out of steam around 17-18PSI and just starts blowing hot air

Yep. the 14b turbine will be able to push 20psi and possibly 22psi. I personally wouldnt run anything more, just not made for it. Also this is assuming you have the propper mods, controllers, engine, fuel(just 91 would probably be sufficent) good luck with your project homie.
