I just put on a fmic, and went for a test run. Out of 2nd gear my car pulls hard till about 4500, and then it jerks and acts like it wants to shut off. A boost leak test has already been done. So besides maybe the plugs/wires, any other ideas? My mods are, Forced Performance 4" Intake, Ported Big 16g EVO 3, Ported SBR cast manifold, 3" Turbo-back Exhaust, Tial 38mm External Wastegate, Walbro 255, Weapon R FPR, Boost Gauge, Precision Fmic with 2.5" piping + 3" Gm Maf/Maft combo (blow through). Hks SSQV Bov, act 2600, fidanza flywheel, built tranny.

I'm not even sure. I bought the car about a year ago, and I haven't changed the plugs/wires as of yet. I just went to checker auto parts and bought a set of e3 plugs(guess they don't need gapping) with wires, and I'm going to put them in tomorrow and see how it runs.

For your setup, im not sure what brand those e3 you just got but I would recomend getting some NGK BPR7 and NGK plug wires also.(their cold enough for you set up) You'll feel ALOT of difference and will run much smoother.

word. NGK BPR7ES for a 2G and NGK BPR6ES for 1G.

Anything else is sub-par

make sure you gap the properly. .028 I think is where it should be at. If it starts miss firing, (shouldn't) regap them .001 less until it runs good.

Alright so i'm going to take the plugs/wires back and get NGK, but i thought it was .030 for stock boost, and like .028 for 16+ psi?
