Car hesitates

I have a 95 NT eclipse(beater) with 109k. Recently when driving the car, whenever i floor the car, it feels like the car is going to shut off and it means a little clicking noise but the car moves, it just that it hesistates.

I checked the spark plugs and they were oil on them. Some said valve cover gasket but i remember i changed the gasket and even when it was bad, the car never really gave any problem, it was just losing a little oil.

well the valve cover gasket has the outer gasket and inner hope u replaced the inner.if it was me i would replasce the gaskets,plugs and wires.
