I have a 96 Eclipse GS.

I have decided to upgrade my nose with a bodykit piece (ya, ya, I know) Anyways, its the Evo 5 front clip.

I also need to replace my suspension as it is shot.

So my question is, how low do typical bodykits hang down? If I get my suspension first then how much can I lower it? About an inch?

Or is this just one of those things that you have to play it by ear? Thanks guys:dsm:

That one looks nice to me,good choice, try and find it in urethane so it'll last and if you do scrape it'll just be paint not your whole bumper getting damaged. If your worried about lowering the car too much then go with some coilovers. You can go with a agx/ground control that will work for you.Of course their are better setups especially shockswise, but the agx are a good bang for the buck and I get the feeling your just going for the look so this setup would more then suffice. You could even go cheaper(i'm a cheap bastard I know),with some kyb gr-2's and pro kit,but don't expect road huggin setup from this, however this would still be better then stock and I doubt lowering the car 1.3 inches will be too much.my 02.
