thanks but I'm leaning more towards the 14b now, I'm still not sure because I've heard so many ideas, but that turbo sounds pretty good. But why such a big turbine trim, because its a 2.7 I guess. Thanks for your insight, I'll keep it in mind.

whats the goal with the tacoma? any certain times.. or just a daily driven turbo car to be a street racer? like the stock injectors are fine.. its just fuel delivery. you'll need an upgraded fuel pump and a fpr.

thats good news. We were thinking of getting a fuel pump off of a tundra. That should do it, hopefully. What fuel pressure did you run? And our goal is just a daily driven turbo tacoma. It would be nice to hit 250 horse, but 210 or 220 would be bad ass. This thing comes stock with 140 or 150.

thanks mramc3

I dont know why you are picking the 14b for your application. I have good experiance with both. But i would really have to say that the ct26 is going to be better. Because you are going to be right in its efficincey range.

And at that psi it will out flow a 14b big time. I think the 14b is a littel small for your displacment. Your gonna have no lag dont get me wrong but your VE is gonna suck, because of this. Pick up a ct26 of a supra, and your good to go. These are my thoughts. I just dont want you to make a manifold, and go thourgh all this shit to find out the turbo is to small. :thumb:

Well hes going to be using stock internals, and wit that in mind I doubt he will able to safely run more than 10psi... either one Im sure will be alright. Of course like I said before it matters what ct26 you get also. And if you plan to make another 100hp, then don't plan on using the stock injectors;)

I'm just curious what you guys are basing these turbo calculations on? Do you have maps for the CT26/14B and flow numbers etc etc?
