6bolt swap question

DOES A DSM TRANNY Have to match up with a 7 bolt or 6 bolt? or does it not matter. I have a 7 bolt LOOKING into a 6 bolt. Would my transmission be good to keep? What parts would i have to switch?

When you are doing a 7 bolt to a 6 bolt, not every transmission bolt bolts up, but most of them do. The others, don't worry about. Bolt up what you can, leave the rest. It'll work out just fine. I don't have experience with a 1g 7 bolt to a 1g 6 bolt...but when doing a 2g to a 1g swap, you just bolt up what you can...everything works out.
