I've been thinking about getting the rre uicp and I've been told that it is flanged for the greddy type s, and that the 1g bov will bolt directly onto this flange. Is this true?

no, the Type S is a similar shape to the 1g flange, but smaller. So it IS possible to use a type S on a 1g bov flange, you just have to drill new holes a little closer together. But since the 1g bov is bigger, you can not use it on a typeS flange. Hope that made sense.

Also the cheapest place i've found to date for a uic pipe is www.straightlinespecialties.com
And if you are into fabricating your own things, there is a great DIY write-up in the tech article section by one of the moderators.

Ah ok, Yeah I was either gonna buy that RRE one or make my own...

Looks like I'll be making my own.

But I don't have a welder.... grrr
