I saw on a thread that The exhaust manifold on 1G DSMs are notorious for cracking and leaking. The solution is to replace it with a ported factory 95-99 exhaust manifold, an Evo 3 manifold, or an aftermarket tubular header.
I opened the the oil cap today and it smelled like gas inside, is that good or bad? And there was a little bit for white liquid on the cap not sure if I have a leak.

I have a 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX and I think this is the MAF sensor not sure but when I plug it in it’s bogs down and dies but when it’s unplugged it runs great.
I had just put in some new rod bearings and everything is working how it’s supposed to but when the car is getting hot the headers are smoking anyone know why ? I’ll add a video when I get the chanceAnd does anyone know if the wastegate supposed to be bent like this ?
