    Belt slipping off pulley, smells like burning, excessive wear on belt edges. --- Replaced idler pulley, power steering pump, acc. belt. Spent time fidgeting around with the tensioner. Can't seem to get the belt to stay on the AC Compressor pulley. Belt tries to come off left edge of AC...

    2G Help, Alternator/Power belt tension issues

    I recently replaced my belt for the P/S pump, alternator, water pump because it split and slipped off. I can't seem to get enough tension on the new belt. It is very noisy on start up (worse than the normal for these cars) and I think it's slipping at WOT. I'm not even sure I have the right bolt...
