I was just wondering if anyone has put in a mesh grill of some sort on the front of their cars. My car has this ugly metal rod that runs along the front of the front bumper, and i thought a meshed grill would hide that. anyone do something like that?

my 4-1 stlye header is an SSautochrome header. I got it for about 120 bucks shipped on ebay. Try doing a search on here and see what others have used. you'll be surprised on what you find.a little advice though. No matter what header you get, you will only add maybe 4HP max. If i had to do...

i would go with the AF/X in my opinion. I actually bought one a few years back, but just never put it on my car. If you want it, you can buy it off of me. It comes with belts too.

GReddy is a great name in aftermarket performance parts. But when you buy GReddy you're basically buying a name. There are other companies that make 4-1 or 4-2-1 style headers for half the cost.

If i were you, why dont you just save your money, and buy the whole a whole exhaust instead of buying just a muffler. But i mean.. it all depends on what your future plans are, so if you plan on replacing the exhaust.. i'd save your money up a bit! :thumb:

it could, because less power is going to your power steering pump.

how much would you estimate you've put into your car for that turbo? 20k is outlandishly high.. i would approximate 10grand at most

well, from what have read, is that us N/ts dont have to worry about it because our cranks are already internally balanced, where as the turbos aren't. what that means, i really dont know.. but i know we dont have to worry about it. btw, i just got my af/x udp the other day.. i cant wait to...

yeah, he seems like one of those 4g63 guys.. depending on how much you want to boost, like 5-7psi.. you wont need new internals.. a turbo kit and new internals will cost you like 7 grand MAX..

well i mean, if you do get a turbo kit, granted you are going to wear down your engine faster.. and its a given you will increase that rate more by turning up the boost.. so you could run 10-12 psi.. but i mean, its just increasing the chance of killing your engine.

10 sounds risky to me too.. i've read about a guy who had it set at 7psi.. then turned it up to 8, and his engine blew.. but ya know.. every engine is different... but 5-7 is whats generally recomended

Magnacore 8.5mm wires are really good too.. thats what i have.. and a lot of other guys reccomend them too

Yeah, i agree.. 20 grand is way too much of an estimate.. i'd guess it'd be around 5-6grand at MOST.. you could go two ways with this.. you could either buy a new 2.2L stroker kit from Howell Automotive (www.howellautomotive.com) or you could just buy new pistons and rods. I would rather buy...

4k is too low, i paid 4700 for my n/t esi w/ 73k miles on it.. i'd say sell it for 6-7k

hey, what kind of magnaflow muffler do you have? i have a full exhaust done.. with an ebay muffler.. its pretty low until i get to about 3k, and then it gets kinda rapsy.. or if i punch it.. its really rapsy.. i just want a muffler so that its not as loud.. and will get that rapsy sound away...

koni's are good.. but i've heard pretty good things about the agx's.. i was looking into them too.. 85 bucks each... not that bad..what kind of springs were you looking at? i was thinking about the H&R sport springs

you might need a camber kit too... plus, how many miles are on your car? cause new shocks could be the way to go if you've got high miles :thumb:

is it worth getting? i've got an Auto. and compared to my friend's with a manual dsm, the manuals are a lot faster. would i be able to keep up with them? also, i read some stuff about the translab shift kit and end cluth. is that something i should consider, or what?
