So you believe the problem would be from where the ignition of the key is instead of the wiring from the fuse box to the starter is? just curious on which part i need to purchase, if you buy a new ignition does it include a key >_<?
ya the only way i can get the car to start is connecting a wire to the yellow/black wire of the connector and then placing the wire onto the fuse box where the power is at
so your saying its safe to connect the black and yellow wires (ones i'm currently connecting to fuse box to start it) and the red wires taht are on the same connector together?
Okay so i finally got the laser up and running, but it won't start on its own, if i connect a wire to the starter wire and then to a direct power sorce it works but if i connect the wire to what it's suppose to be connected to, nothing, any thoughts or suggestions on what the problem is?
The Laser had been sitting for a while just waiting to be finished. We recently just got everything needed for under the hood but it still wouldn't start. We got a new battery, checked the timing and the starter, etc.... and got nowhere. We took the head off again and behold! damage to the...
I'm starting to think that this is what's happened. The timing belt is almost right. Everything lines up except the crankshaft which is off by about an inch and it won't go any farther. If it is the cylinders and valves is it a lost cause or is it possible to fix if there's no damage? The car...
The crankshaft refuses to turn anymore. The car was sitting for a few months so we think the engine may have locked. Because it didn't sieze up when running, should i check for lack of oil or should i check for other fluid in there?
1992 Plymouth Laser. When we try to start it, the starter clicks once and then nothing. The crankshaft timing mark is about an inch away from where it should be. Is it possible that this is why the car isn't turning over? We try to turn it that last inch but no matter what it will not budge. We...
