not sure on what Haltech systems are setup line but should work fine like most OEM systems do. can always convert it to a volt system and mount it on the sender. they require a certain length though to be safe and work accurately so keep that in mind

I found this on the board....
2g AWD drivers side sender is 2 ohms full, 50 ohms empty (passenger side is 2-57 ohms).
2g FWD is 4 ohms full, 112 ohms empty so it is not compatible.
Me talking...
The 2g FWD appears to be almost the same ohms as the 1g, damn. I'll post back my data soon but depending on the float arm location and length and the low light sensor arm and length, the FWD 2g float assembly might be the swap option for 1gs.
Then after some more research I found out the 2g senders are discontinued, unreal.

89-92.5 early 4g63 6 bolt lower timing covers 
I would be open to a multi piece unit that snaps together even. Just something to keep the grid off my belt. Paying $100+ for busted up, warped junk is a bit much these days.

I want to do something for sure as with all the covers. I have all new later covers in hand for working with and will need a 6 bolt when the time comes. But its something on my long list for sure.

I have some brand new sets here I have been looking into. Its alot more complicated for sure vs the Drip rails. Nothing can be added back on due to how thin the rubber is so either needs to be into a mold to re cover it in new material plus flocking inside for the glass or digure something else out entirely. Either way its a costly part to dive into even in the R&D stages but its being looked into in hopes I can do something

The parts are online to have made so can ot be made to sell on. But these days the cost of these shocks is quite high vs coilovers which can offer better performance vs costs. May not be something I will get into but I do plan to look into somebits later on in time on shocks
