I have to sell my 90 gsx, life situation has changed as it does, can't afford to mess with it any more. I got this engine/car/the rest of my parts a few years back in a trade. I don't have the spec sheet on the engine but at one point I had identified the pistons and it shouldn't be hard to find the info by the numbers on them I will try to find time to add that info myself. Located bout an hour and a half east of Lexington, and I want someone to come and pick it up. Can meet in public, and I can take any more pics you want to see. The pistons have numbers in grams? marked on their bottom so maybe this thing was balanced? The tale I got is a smaller shop in Ohio that went out of business built it.

If you are looking for a 1990 GSX donor car, I have a red one that is complete and stock, but has bad rusted panels around.the rear fenders and a cracked windshield. Engine runs, trans is good, wouldn't trust the turbo.I removed the air intake and the power steering bracket and thats where I stopped because.the exhaust valves are leaking oil and I was going to.replace them. I have the service.records of.the car for the first 150k miles all dealer done, and I don't think it ever saw a mod besides a cell phone speaker wire.
Block has been kept inside several plastic bags on a stand in my garage, periodically oiled and rotated.
If you buy the shortblock I will sell you any and all of my spare parts for super reasonable prices, but I want to sell the car whole.
