- Used as a winter beater until 2018, when my transfer case in the evo was shot, it was my daily in the summer. The first time my now ex wife rode in it, the slave cylinder blew, fixed in khols parking lot in 30min including run time to orileys down the street for replacement. Clutch line bled, started, press in clutch to go into gear, cluch fork breaks. Flatbed to my parent's garage. I pulled engine and trans out at once, removed trans, put back together with new fork, ball, bearing, jesus clip. Things came up with work, life got busy, wife of the time was pregnant. My time slipped away, I moved hours away from my parents, the talon remained untouched for years. I am 5 days out of a divorce, back in town.
All brakes are seized, rotors rusted to sht.
Starting by removing all 4 corners rotors, pads, calipers, brackets. Going to rockauto some new front calipers, rears will have to be rebuilt due to lack of supply everywhere I've looked. Plan is to be out of the garage and pressure washed exterior tomorrow along with deep clean of interior.
It is currently 6/15/26, tomorrow is the first day it will have seen sunlight since summer of 2018
