Parts Wishlist
First thing it needs to run as healthy as it was originally intended (ECMlink).
Next I would like the suspension and braking components replaced and/or upgraded (rotors, calipers, coilovers, etc).
Last is cosmetics. 2gb bumpers and headlights, then paint and interior.... eventually possible performance upgrades. Turbo, intercooler, injectors, fuel pump etc. The usual.
Background
I got this eclipse 15 years ago in 2009, its been sitting behind the shop for the last 5 years. me and my father rebuild and restore classic cars so theres a few sitting around waiting. It's a completely stock desert car with zero rust anywhere. It has 145,000 miles on it and has never broke down on me in any way. since I've owned it, the only fuel that has ever been put in it has been "ethanol free 93 octane". I've also serviced it regularly and never abused it (other than the recent neglect) I've never hot rodded or pushed it harder than it's capable. needless to say it's been taken good care of. I think its time to get it to its full potential. Probably going to restore and rebuild as much as I can. Possibly change the cosmetics to a 2gb but keep it as stock and un altered as a 2g needs to be. Not looking for a lot of power or super fast. Hopefully just a quick accelerating, fun, clean, weekend driver. As much get up and go as it can reliably maintain without much wear and tear.
