Background
My eclipse is my first DSM. I traded my dirt bike away for this car. Being I was new to the DSM world I neglected to maintain my car which eventually led to my car jumping timing and well you know the rest. I’m currently started my rebuild for my Eclipse and would like to have around that 450 to 500 horsepower once it’s back on the road. My pictures are from when I first got it(it was pretty rough) to current so I tried to make it look more presentable as I time went on. My block is all assembled .20 over on bore size Manley rods and Wiseco pistons. Not sure what I’m going to run for a turbo set up yet but I’d like to drag race it and also maybe do some autocross or time trial racing.. My goal is to have it be fast but that I can still enjoy it on the road too. I’m also going to do a 5 speed manual transmission swap. You may ask why? Well I’d have more fun driving a manual when I’m out for a cruise and also it’s my first DSM and I don’t want to let it go. OH! And it’s dang near rust free and it’s been in MN it’s whole life! Ha
